A special eye clinic program was launched today (2022.01.05) with the aim of strengthening the health of the elderly community in the Nikaweratiya Divisional Secretariat.
The program was organized by the Nikaweratiya Hospital Committee under the guidance of Mr. JMIRK Jayasundara, Divisional Secretary, Nikaweratiya as the Chairman of the Hospital Committee.
150 adults in Kirindigalla, Wasiwewa, Siyambalewa, Divullegoda, Divullewa, Randenigama and Halmillewa divisions were subjected to medical examinations today.
The program was held at the Sri Jayawardanarama Temple in Siyambalewa with the special assistance of the Ophthalmology Unit of the hospital and the officers in charge of the hospital.
