**** Samurdhi Division ****
The main objective of this division is to empower these families by reducing the poverty of the poor people in the Nikaweratiya Divisional Secretariat area.
We implement the following measures to achieve this objective.
- Donations to day-to-day living with various subsidies
- Samurdhi banking program will be provided to self-employed persons, houses, and consumer loans
- Introduction of the Samurdhi banking program to the poor
- Insurance compensation for the following issues faced by the people by the Samurdhi social security program.
(Death, birth, marriage, hospitalization) - Implementation of social development programs
Housing Aid,
Implementation of children's clubs,
Drug addiction,
Family counseling,
Home based management programs - Livelihood development program provides self-employment assistance and empowering families
- Scholarships were given at the scholarship
- Household homeowner housing
