Supply disaster relief services
As a result of above disaster situations, the following relief services are provided.
- Damage to life Rs. 100000.00
- To fully disabled Rs. 100000.00 (Maxmum limit)
- Property and housing damage Rs.2500000.00(Maxmum limit)(Businesses with less than Rs.10 million annual turnover also get relief.)
- Cooking food One person for one day Rs.300.00 (When in detention to detention centers)
- Dry rations (1 week)
* For one person Rs. 900.00
* A family of 02 members Rs.1200.00
* A family of 03 members Rs1400.00
* A family of 04 members Rs.1600.00
* A family of 05 members or more Rs.1800.00
Supply of drinking water
During severe weather conditions, provision of drinking water is provided to the Grama Niladari levels at the Divisional Secretariat.
Dry Rations
The government's special programs implemented during the drought-prone period provide drought relief through the divisional secretariat.
The Ministry of Wildlife Conservation and Wildlife Ministry distributes compensation through the Divisional Secretariat.
